JIFMAR obtains certification on preventive measures adapted to the control of sanitary risk of COVID-19.

JIFMAR OFFSHORE SERVICES became one of the very first work vessel operators to obtain COVID-19 certification for its fleet following a voluntary request of the company for an audit by the certification company: Bureau Veritas. This certification has been successfully obtained. The aim of this certification put in place by Bureau Veritas is to verify the readiness of companies to address the challenges raised by the epidemic.

From the very early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jifmar Offshore Services mastered this new risk. The french shipowner has adapt his operations and has gone
beyond all government security measures for each of his vessels, following strict protocols and ensuring that all operations can continue safely for the crews and for the
staff of its customers.

« It was essential for us to continue working for our customers and to meet deadlines. Our crews have given everything so that there is no downtime and the impact linked to COVID is as invisible as possible. That’s why we stayed operational 24/7 » Jean-Michel BERUD – CEO of Jifmar Offshore Services.

This dictated the implementation of a COVID-19 preventive system with numerous technical and organizational measures and ensured JIFMAR clients the continuation
of their projects
