Neptune Marine builds its third EuroTug 3515 for France-based operator TSM (Thomas Services Maritimes). Delivery of the multi-purpose tug, to be named TSM OUESSANT, is scheduled for April 2020.
The EuroTug 3515 is the largest vessel in the EuroTug portfolio of Dutch shipyard Neptune Marine. After an ultra-shallow draft version and a hybrid version last year, the TSM OUESSANT will be the third of its kind to be delivered since 2017.
This EuroTug 3515 is a multipurpose DP2 support vessel, which is able to perform a variety of tasks in both offshore and shallow waters, due to its shallow draft of only 1,8 meters. In addition to the shallow draft design, the tug is equipped with a 4-point mooring system and spudleg system for maximum stability. Moreover, onboard the 250 m2 aft deck a selection of deck equipment is installed to create a truly multi-purpose vessel. Features include a Heila 280 deck crane and a 120 ton meter deck crane, moonpool and a 100 tons AHT winch.
Vessel owner TSM prioritizes the safety and comfort of its personnel and guests onboard the vessel. Therefore the interior has been designed in close cooperation between the owner and a specialized interior designer. As a result the 21-pax accommodation offers a high-end, comfortable and spacious look and feel for everyone onboard.
The TSM OUESSANT will be the second vessel, built by Neptune Marine, in the TSM fleet. In 2018 the EuroTug 3210 TSM Kermor was acquired after it was sold by its former Dutch owner. Based on the experiences with this vessel and close cooperation with Neptune, TSM decided to add the EuroTug 3515 to the fleet.
