MED MARINE is proud to announce the successful completion of the launching of two RAmparts 2500-W tugboats, constructed as part of its ongoing projects for its own fleet. Carefully built by skilled hands at EREGLI SHIPYARD and brought to water at the end of April, these two sister vessels are now continuing their final preparations for the missions they will undertake together. Set to join MED MARINE’s fleet, these RAmparts 2500-W tugboats are being meticulously prepared to operate in Turkish waters and provide strong support to the fleet.
With their 25-metre hulls and an impressive minimum 80 tonnes of bollard pull, these sister tugboats are designed to deliver high performance and reliability under demanding operational conditions. Equipped with a top speed of 12 knots and a state-of-the-art FiFi firefighting system, the vessels aim to enhance the safety of MED MARINE’s fleet across all possible scenarios. In addition to their strong pushing, towing, and mooring capabilities, they are ready to ensure maximum operational efficiency with comfortable accommodation spaces and robust structures built to withstand challenging weather conditions.
MED MARINE prioritizes long-term safety and durability in all vessels it builds, implementing this approach with great precision from the first stage of construction to final delivery in the production of high-powered, highly manoeuvrable tugboats. By further strengthening MED MARINE’s own fleet, this project reflects the company’s confidence in its engineering expertise and commitment to operational excellence, reliability, and long-term performance.
