On July 22nd, the first concrete caisson reached its installation site on tow where it will be part together with 17 others of an extension of the Principality of Monaco. The caisson left Marseille on tow of the Boluda France’s 90t BP ocean going tug VB Fos, specifically mobilized for the project.
Boluda France’s Chief Executive Officer, Denis Monserand, told: “Boluda France has been awarded the transport contract of this challenging project by Eiffage Genie Civil Marine further to an international tender. We have highlighted our expertise as well as the right technical solution and asset. The acquisition of the VB FOS is a response to our strategy to provide our customers with a tug dedicated to deep-sea towing and project towing, and with this contract we demonstrate our ability to provide efficient solutions for high value-added projects.
